The United Goalkeeping Alliance (UGKA) focuses on supporting the development of the goalkeeper position. UGKA is built to support every goalkeeper all around the world through at least some stage of their development.
The UGKA is an ever-growing network of goalkeeper coaches with agreed upon goals of educating generations of goalkeepers. UGKA mission is to create a goalkeeping culture and further develop every aspect of goalkeeping for participating coaches, goalkeepers, and parents alike.
UGKA primarily focuses on the 5 elements of a goalkeeper's development: tactical development, technical knowledge, physical growth, psychological balance and social connection.
Co-presented with legendary youth and collegiate goalkeeper coach Paul Blodgett on the topic of being the #1, vulnerabilities and confidence building.
Our very own Jersey Legendary Coach Tim Mulqueen sits down with UGKA talking goalkeeping, his career coaching the best of U.S Soccer Goalkeepers including Tony Meola, Tim Howard, Brad Friedel, Kasey Keller and many MLS keepers.
